My chosen species for the Social Media Campaign is the dolphin. Mainly there are two problems with them. One is water pollution, and the other one is dolphin shows. Water pollution could be deal with by passing new laws within each county and regulations for the world. Water pollution is hard to be dealt with in some counties.

In contrast, we need the world as a whole to contribute to the solution, fight for our goal, and reduce water pollution. This is also the problem I would like to write about because reducing water pollution saves the dolphins and could help save more marine species. ORCA and Oceana are the two organizations I found very helpful. ORCA has a limited demographic because it is mainly for the UK area. However, Oceana focuses on worldwide marine issues, so this organization is more valuable to me.

According to the three videos we watched this weekend, I feel for my AP project, ethos, pathos, and logos are equally important. However, for academic audiences, I think ethos probably is the most important one. These audiences already have background information accordingly to my topic, so it is essential to make sure my information and data are correct. I will consider adding more credible resources and authors to my project for the sake of my academic audience. Also, I need to make sure to preserve a neutral but potent tone. In Yourofsky's video, his word choice is chaotic, making his content less credible. I need to keep my style academically in order to appeal to my audience's pathos.
